Billing for shipping
The subscription pays for the software, and on our rates shipping is rebilled at the exact carrier price with zero markup, on its own line, so the two never mix.
We earn on the subscription and nothing on your shipping, and the invoice shows it. The software is one line. On our rates, shipping is rebilled at the exact carrier price with zero markup, lane by lane, on a line of its own.
The subscription
The subscription pays for the software. Your store and carrier connections, the labels and passports inside your plan allowance, tracking, returns, the AI features and support are all in it. There are no setup fees and nothing held back for a second contract. None of it is a commission or a margin on transport, and it costs the same whichever carrier wins the label.
A negotiated rate earns us nothing, so the cheapest label for you is the one we want to win.
Transport costs
Transport is the carrier's price, and we pass it on. In France and the United Kingdom, where we hold negotiated rates, the lane is rebilled at that price with zero markup. On your own contracts your carrier bills you as it always has and the labels count against your allowance.
We price on your lanes. Send us your monthly volume, your origins and destinations and your weight profile, and you get the price per lane at carrier cost before you move a parcel. The number in the quote is the number on the invoice. Set it against your own contract on the same lane and switch our rate on only where it wins. Your own contracts get the same labels, tracking, invoice audit and passport as our rates, the rule that picks the rate is yours to set and supervise, and you can see which rate won and why. From Growth up, rates are compared on every label.
The invoice
How transport is billed depends on the carrier and your account setup. Where the carrier invoices you directly, you get its invoice as before plus a statement from us that reads every carrier in one place, a reading aid, while the carrier's invoice remains the document you pay. Where we re-invoice the carrier cost, you get one consolidated invoice per period, one line per carrier used, at cost, with the software on a separate line, and the transport line says in writing that it is rebilling at cost with no margin. The cost basis is printed on the document your accountant files. Plan prices are in euros and exclusive of tax.
The prepaid wallet
Transport money that goes through us comes out of a prepaid wallet in your account, one per currency, euros and pounds sterling, with no forced conversion between the two. You top it up when you choose or let it debit automatically. Each label is its own line in the ledger, and so is each surcharge and each option on top of it. The ledger exports, so your accountant reconciles it against the invoice and your books.
That matters on the day a parcel is re-rated at the depot because the box was bigger than the label said. The surcharge is one line with its amount next to it. The invoice audit then reads every carrier invoice line by line against the parcels shipped and flags the surcharges and billing errors for your team to claim back. Carrier invoices shows how to read one yourself.
Allowances and overage
Each plan carries a monthly allowance of labels and passports, and the passports are never sold as an add-on. Starter and Growth are billed monthly by card, Scale runs on an annual invoice, and Enterprise is quoted on your volumes and integrations.
| Plan | Labels a month | Passports a month |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 20 | 20 |
| Starter | 330 | 350 |
| Growth | 1,300 | 1,400 |
| Scale | 3,300 | 3,600 |
| Enterprise | Quoted on volumes | Quoted on volumes |
Past an allowance, extra labels and passports are billed per unit at your plan's unit rate, and when overage becomes a normal month the next plan up is usually cheaper than paying it. Annual billing takes 15 per cent off any plan. AI use carries daily allowances, and sustained heavy use is invoiced per million tokens. The prices are on the pricing page.
The Free plan
Free gives you 20 labels and 20 passports a month for as long as you like, on your own carrier contracts, with no card needed to start. The caps are hard, there is no overage and there is nothing to pay us. Our rates in France and the United Kingdom come with the paid plans, so when you cross 20 labels a month regularly, Starter is the next step.
Questions we get asked.
Can I keep my UK contract and use yours in France?
Yes. Both can be live on the same account, the rule you set decides which rate a label takes, and because the rule is yours a lane can move back to your contract the day your contract improves. The detail is in Bring your own carrier.
Why do you need my volumes before you quote?
Because a carrier's price moves with your parcels and your volume. A figure quoted without your weight profile and your lanes would be wrong for you in one direction or the other. Send those and the price per lane comes back at carrier cost, which is the number on your invoice.
How are the plans billed?
Starter and Growth are billed monthly by card, Starter after its 30-day trial, and Scale runs on an annual invoice. On our rates, the price per lane is confirmed against your volumes before the first parcel ships.
Does freight follow the same rule?
Yes. Inbound air, sea and road are arranged through our contracted partners, quoted per lane and rebilled at the negotiated carrier cost, the same pass-through as the last mile. The transport page shows where we hold rates.
