Transport

The part that actually moves.

Solutions are what you subscribe to. Transport is what we contract for on your behalf: the last mile, the warehouses, the freight in from the factory. It is priced separately and rebilled at cost, so the software and the freight never get confused on the same invoice.

France and the UK on negotiated rates
Your own contracts everywhere else
Zero markup, rebilled at carrier cost

Where we hold contracts, and where you do.

We would rather publish a short honest map than a long one that implies coverage we do not have. Negotiated rates are live in France and the United Kingdom, with a small, directly contracted set of partners. Everywhere else you connect your own accounts on the same console and lose nothing but the rate.

Your contracts are a first-class option, not a fallback. Bring your own carrier accounts and the console treats them exactly like ours: same labels, same tracking, same invoice audit, same passport. The only difference is who negotiated the rate.

We are not a carrier, and we are not a forwarder.

We hold contracts and we hold the thread. Our partners hold the trucks, the planes, the ships and the warehouses, and they are good at it. Pretending otherwise would mean competing with the people whose networks make this work. Operators from carriers, engineers from AI: that is the team, and it is why the operations side is not an afterthought.

How we are actually judged.

Three things decide whether a transport partner is any good. Everything else is a brochure.

Rates

Where we hold negotiated rates, they are rebilled at the exact carrier price with zero markup, lane by lane, as a pass-through line on your invoice. Where you hold better rates than ours, you keep them and the labels simply count against your plan allowance. We would rather be the console than the margin.

Running the operation

A named team, reachable by phone, that has worked carrier operations rather than read about them. Exceptions are worked when they appear rather than when a customer complains. Every plan includes phone support with a person, and from Growth up your calls and tickets jump the queue.

Collections and claims

Every invoice line is read against what actually shipped. Surcharges are flagged, disputes are prepared, claims are filed with the evidence already attached. Industry audits typically put surcharges and billing errors at 2 to 5 percent of parcel spend.

Questions we get asked.

Is Next Horizon a carrier or a freight forwarder?

Neither. Next Horizon contracts with carrier, fulfilment and freight partners on the customer's behalf and runs the console, the item identity and the operations on top. The partners own the vehicles, the aircraft, the vessels and the warehouses.

Which countries do you hold negotiated rates in?

France and the United Kingdom today, with a small set of directly contracted partners. Everywhere else, customers connect their own carrier accounts to the same console and keep their own rates.

How is freight billed?

At the negotiated carrier cost with zero markup, as a pass-through line on your invoice, lane by lane. Next Horizon earns on the subscription, not on your freight. That is what makes the rate comparison in the console worth trusting.

What happens if I already have better rates than yours?

You keep them. Bring your own carrier accounts and the console treats them identically: same labels, same tracking, same invoice audit, same passport. The labels count against your plan allowance and nothing about the rate changes.

Do you handle claims and invoice disputes?

Yes. Every carrier invoice line is read against what actually shipped, surcharges are flagged, and claims are prepared with the evidence attached. Under the enterprise offer this starts with a free audit of one month of carrier invoices, with a gain-share option.

Do you do customs brokerage?

No. Customs brokerage is handled by the broker on the lane. Next Horizon carries the item identity and the status through that step so the hold is visible to you, but the brokerage itself is not ours.

Bring us a lane and a bill.

One month of carrier invoices and the lanes you care about. We come back with what we would charge and what we think you are overpaying.
